Lester B. Wilson, 80, of Mount Pleasant, died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Henry County Health Center.
Mr. Wilson was born Jan. 9, 1907, in the Finley community to Homer and Grace Black Wilson. He married Charlotte Snyder on Dec. 8, 1932, in Monmouth, Ill.
He was a member of the Hope Haven Area Development Center board of directors, the Finley United Methodist Church and was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Terry, Mount Pleasant; a daughter, Linda Wilson, Northwood Group Home of Burlington; and a granddaughter.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant.
Services for Mr. Wilson will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Finley church, the Rev. Donald Coffin officiating. Burial will be in the Finley Cemetery.
Memorials have been established to the church and the Hope Haven Building Fund.
