"Don Cady Chandler, 77, formerly of Danville died Thursday Feb. 9, 1989, in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Born June 25, 1911, in Washington, he was the son of Glen L. and Mary Simmons Chandler. He married Barbara Halliberg in October, 1950.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Danville, the Elks Club, and the Full Gospel Businessmen's Organization. He was director of the National Association of Plumbing Contractors. He moved to Fairbanks, Alaska, in 1951 and started Chandler Plumbing and Heating. He was co-owner of a Ford and Mercury automobile dealership in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Surviving are his wife, one daughter Donna Dannell, Oxnard, Calif., one stepdaughter Patricia Gail, Chandler, Ariz; one sister Alwilda Pierce, Anchorage, Alaska, and six grandchildren.

The service for Mr. Chandler will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Scottsdale Ariz. Burial will be in Scottsdale, Ariz.
