SERVICES AT SHARON FOR RAY VANDENBERG

Funeral services for Ray Vandenberg, 50, who passed away Wednesday afternoon at 2:10 in the Burlington Hospital, have been set for Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Sharon Church. Mr. Vandenberg, who was born in Wisconsin, was for a number of years the operator of Van's Lunch while the family made their home in Mt. Pleasant.

The family moved to their farm twelve miles northwest of Donnellson in Lee county several years ago. He had been in ill heath for the past six months and was taken to the Burlington Hospital last Thursday.

The deceased is survived by his wife and son, Burt, two brothers and one sister: John Vandenberg of Keosauqua, L.J. Vandenberg of Batesville, Ark. and Mrs. Janette Schulze of Burlington.

Interment will be in Sharon cemetery.
