Calla Anetta Jones

WINFIELD - Calla Anetta Jones, 86, of Winfield, died Tuesday evening, Oct. 21, at Sunrise Terrace care center here.

She was born June 27, 1894, in Muscatine to John and Martha Adaline Ingham Beaham. She married Joseph Barton Jones Dec. 29, 1912 at Columbus Junction.

She was a lifetime member of the United Methodist church and a member of Royal Neighbors.

Surviving: Two sons, Lyle, Iowa City, and Glenn, Oroville, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert(Melba)Hewitt, Winfield, and Mrs. Verle(Beula)Crist, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Friday, 2 p.m. Winfield United Methodist church, the Rev. Brown Garlock and Pastor Ron Wiegand; Winfield-Scott township cemetery. A memorial has been established at the McKasson-Honts funeral home here.
