Beatrice Huston
Beatrice W. Huston, 83, of Winfield, died Sunday, June 24, 2007, at Sunrise Terrace Care Center.

Born Sept. 30, 1923, in Bucklin, Kan., she was the daughter of Carl and Muriel Gregg Replogle. On Dec. 24, 1941, she married Harry Huston. He died July 2, 2002.

She was a cook for the Wyman and Winfield schools. She worked at the Washington Calendar Factory. She was a 50-year member of Winfield First Presbyterian Church and United Presbyterian Women,OES and Winfield American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing, pets and being a farmwife, helping with the livestock and farm work.

Survivors include one son, Mark Huston of Wellman; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one nephew.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at Honts Funeral Home in Winfield with the family present to greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

The funeral for Mrs. Huston will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Honts Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Morehouse officiating. Interment will follow in Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery.

Memorials have been established for Winfield First Presbyterian Church, Hope Haven and Christian Opportunity Center.
