Dale Anderson

Dale B. Anderson, 82, of Burlington, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, at Listowel, Ontario, Canada.

Born Nov. 20, 1918, in Grover, Colo., he was the son of Axel Bernard and Nellie Mae Mathews Anderson. On Jan. 28, 1948, he married Betty Bean.

Mr. Anderson was a delivery service driver before retiring.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Home-builders Class & Men's Club of the church. He worked with Boy Scout Troop 1. He was a World War II Army veteran, serving from May 1943 to February 1946.

Survivors include his wife; one son, David B. Anderson of Engelwood, Colo.; two daughters, Jane C. Tallis of Cary, N.C., and Suelaine Poot of Palmerston, Ontario, Canada; and one brother, Gerald Anderson of Mount Pleasant.

Visitation will begin after 11 a.m. Monday at Eicher-Sheagren Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m.

The funeral for Mr. Anderson will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Grace United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Trevor Davis officiating. Burial will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
