DEATH OF MRS. MATTIE HAMILTON

A telegram was received by Mr. I. P. Van Cise this morning announcing the sad news of the death of Mrs Mattie Van Cise Hamilton at her home in Chicago. The cause of her death was premature childbirth, and she passed away about 11 o'clock last night. Mrs. Hamilton was born in this city, grew to womanhood in our midst, was married at the old home, and went out from our midst to brighten and make glad the home of another. A large circle of warm truehearted friends will be shocked and saddened by the news of her sudden and untimely death. The heartfelt sympathy of all will be extended to the bereaved husband and the sorrowing sisters and brothers. The remains will be brought here for burial and will arrive on the morning train tomorrow. The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon.
