Juanita Lowe
Juanita Lowe, 78, 1911 Arthur Drive, Fort Madison, died at 4:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Born Oct. 4, 1921, in New Boston, Ill., she was the daughter of Willis Howard and Minnie Florence Louch Cameron. On Nov. 23, 1943, she married Paul W. Lowe in Meridian, La. He died Feb. 14, 1995.
Mrs. Lowe was a computer operator for the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant. She was a resident of Fort Madison since 1964.
She was of the Methodist faith. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Mount Pleasant.
Survivors include one son, David Lowe of Fort Madison; one brother, Kenneth Cameron of Tinley Park, Ill.; and two sisters, Mary King and Colleen Willits, both of New Boston.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter and two brothers.
Open visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in Barr Memorial Chapel in Fort Madison. There will be no family visitation.
The funeral for Mrs. Lowe will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Barr Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Elliot George officiating. Burial will be in Winfield-Scott Cemetery in Winfield.
A memorial has been established.
