Dorothy Baldwin

Dorothy M. Baldwin, 74, of Burlington, died at 5:15 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, 1999, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born June 7, 1925, in Winfield, she was the daughter of Oscar C. and Sylvia May Boyd Baldwin.

Miss Baldwin was a retired licensed practical nurse.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Marla McFall of Iowa City; two sons, Robert H. VaLeu and Gary Lee VaLeu, both of Burlington; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Lunning Chapel. There will be no other visitation.

The graveside funeral service for Miss Baldwin will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Winfield-Scott Cemetery, Winfield, with the Rev. Trevor Davis officiating.

A memorial has been established for Grace United Methodist Church.
