Margaret Culler
Margaret E. Culler, 81, of New London, formerly of Danville, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2006, at New London Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Dec. 7, 1924, in Union, she was the daughter of Ora and Minnie Anderson Miller. On Dec. 2, 1950, she married Clarence Culler.
She worked at IAAP in Middletown and Shaeffer Pen Co. in Fort Madison, retiring in 1988. She was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed bingo, cards, crossword puzzles and dominos. She liked country music and watching old westerns on TV.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Culler of Fort Madison and Dale Culler of Burlington; four daughters, Peggy Armstrong of New London, Diane Miller of Burlington, Jane Panther of West Point and Martha Banes of Fort Madison; 12 grandchildren; and four great–grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday at Elliott Chapel in New London, with family receiving friends from noon to 2 p.m.
Funeral services for Mrs. Culler will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel, with the Rev. Matt Miller officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Cemetery in Mount Union.
A memorial has been established.
