Services Friday for Gino Sodini

Gino Sodini died September 10 in Alhambra, Calif. at the age of 73 years.

He was born February 3 1893 in Lucca, Italy, the son of Annunziato and Ursula Unti Sodini.

For 25 years he, in partnership with Roy Bacino, owned and operated the Princess Candy Kitchen.

He was a member of the San Gabriel Mission in California, the American Legion and was a Veteran of World War I.

On August 29, 1929, he was married to Nellie Roppel in Ft Madison, Ia.

Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. R.J. (Shirley Ann) Henderson of Pasadena, Calif., and one brother, Bruno Sodini of Chicago, Ill. One daughter is deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday September 16, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Rev Lawrence J Vogel will officiate.

Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
