Joe G. Sutter, son of Samuel and Minnie (Gerig) Sutter, was born in Wayland, Iowa, Nov. 4, 1920; died at Parkview Home, Wayland, Iowa, July 13, 1986; aged 65 y. Surviving are 2 sisters (Ruth ­ Mrs. Dallas Rediger and Estelle ­ Mrs. Vincent Krabill). He was preceded in death by one sister (Aldine Meyer). He was a member of Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on July 16, in charge of Kenneth Steckley and Steve Reschly; interment in Sugar Creek Cemetery.
