DIED.

OLDT.--On Wednesday August 27th, ‘79 at Oakland, Nettie, eldest daughter of John and Elizabeth Oldt, aged ten years her disease was Typhoid fever. Her funeral took place on Thursday August 28th, at their residence at ten o’clock a.m.

The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. J. Lee, and was largely attended by relatives and friends. At the grave her playmates and schoolmates strewed flowers on her grave to show their love for her that was gone from them. She was a good child and one whom all loved; she was always pleasant and kind to her brothers and sisters and her playmates. She was loved by all that knew her, and will be greatly missed in the family circle and by her schoolmates who deeply mourn her loss. She was patient through all her four weeks of suffering and never was heard to murmur or complain, but patiently waited for God to call her home, and then she passed from this life without a struggle. She was a flower too pure for earth, but was taken to bloom in heaven. Let us all try to meet her there. We express our deepest sympathy for the family and friends.
