DIED.

LEEDHAM.--On Tuesday morning Sept. ninth, 1879, Ansel H. son of Henry C. and Emily D. Leedham, aged 20 years, 9 month and 8 days.

Deceased was a young man of exemplary habits, of ready skill as a mechanic, having early commenced work in his father’s planing mill, where he was always found until disease forbade farther labor in that occupation. He was of slender make and his resolution and perseverance were too much for his physical strength. His health began to fail some two years ago.---Since that time the decline has been gradual but sure. On Monday last he rode out with his mother. His disease, consumption, has been very wearing preventing any thing like refreshing sleep. Since March last he has been unable to speak loud. On the morning of his death he got up and commenced dressing as usual, but his strength failed. He was too weak to clear his lungs and gradually and peacefully passed to that rest,
“Beneath that low, green tent
Whose curtain never outward swings.”
