Conrad, Ezra, son of Jacob K. and Mary (Alliman) Conrad; born March 17, 1897, at Wayland, Iowa; died of a stroke Dec. 8, 1958, at the Henry County Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; aged 61 y. 8 m. 21 d. Three brothers and 3 sisters preceded him in death. Surviving are 2 brothers (Joe, Crawfordsville, Iowa; and Jake, Wayland, Iowa), and 2 sisters (Ida and Emma-Mrs. Edd. Springer), both of the Wayland community. Member of the Sugar Creek Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 11, in charge of Vernon Gerig, Willard Leichty, and Simon Gingerich; interment in Sugar Creek Cemetery.
