MRS. W.H. BARTON DEAD
Passed Away This Morning After Months of Suffering-
Leaves Husband and One Daughter.

Mrs. W.H. Barton passed away at her home, eleven miles southwest of Mt. Pleasant at eleven o'clock this morning.

Death was due to a long suffering with an incurable condition and Mrs. Barton underwent two operations in the Henry County Hospital about one year ago in hopes of relief.

To mourn her death she leaves her husband and one daughter, Ruth, age 12, and a number of brothers and sisters. No arrangements for the funeral have been made at this time.

[Above Mrs. W.H. Barton was Carrie Crane Barton. She was born 18 Jan 1875 to Charles Benjamin and Susan Catcott Crane. She married William Henry Barton 17 Feb 1904]
