Newby, Kenneth Edward ,. 82 yrs old of rural Donnellson, Iowa died December 20, 1997 at HCHC in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Born: July 24, 1915 at Mt. Hamill, Iowa. Parents: Dr. Joseph M. and Anna Bell Newby. Married: Louise E. Rupalo on June 14, 1928 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Survivors include: his wife of Donnellson, Iowa; two sons, Larry J. of Denmark, Iowa, and Dwayne C. of Donnellson, Iowa; a daughter, Lauretta K. Newby of West Des Moines, Iowa; three sisters, Mary Trueblood of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, Edith Reed of Fairfield, Iowa, and Martha Parsons of Donnellson, Iowa; one brother, Ralph of Cherokee Village, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one brother. Interment will be at Clay Grove Cemetery, in Donnellson, Iowa.
