Fred Clyde Kephart, 98, passed away Saturday morning, August 16, 1997 at Parkview Home in Wayland. Mr. Kephart was born August 18, 1898 to Elmer and Margaret (Beenblossom) Kephart. He married Cecile B. Hopping on Dec. 4, 1918 in Washington. She preceded him in death in 1993. Also preceding him in death were his parents, a son Bernard, twin infant sons, Lester and Leslie, three brothers, Roy, Earl and Homer, a sister, Mabel Benson and a grandson.

Survivors include two sons Raymond Kephart of Brighton and Gerald Kephart of Knoxville, two daughters, Erma Regenitter and Karen Nelson.
