THEATER NAME BECOMES “COLONIAL”

The change in name of the Auditorium theater to the Colonial theatre has taken place with the installation of a large neon sign on the front of the theater building on East Monroe Street.

The structure which is being remodeled so that the west portion will house several apartments, will be painted white.

NEW APARTMENTS OPEN FOR INSPECTION

The Colonial Apartments in the Colonial building, formerly the Auditorium, just east of the square and owned by M.L. Dickson will be open to the public for inspection on Sunday and Monday from one to five p.m. Mr. Dickson announced today.

The furniture shown is loaned by R.K. Crane and the Furniture Mart, and the curtains and drapes by Hoaglin’s, Inc.

While the inside of the building is practically finished, the painting and landscaping is yet to be completed.
