Loyal Union League, Mount Pleasant, Iowa - September 17, 1863.
Council met as usual…The minutes of last meeting were read and approved…
The Com. on charges of disloyalty then reported, fully sustaining all the charges referred to them the preceding evening, against the following persons: - H.C. Dean, Braxton Robinson, John B. Lash, John H. Randolph, T.E.V. Faris, Enoch S. Hill, Miles Goodman, Daniel Phillips, J.M. Kibben and G.W. Willits. The report was then read a second time and adopted without opposition.[Accessed online: James A.
