Rev. S. N. Fellows Dead

Dr. Fellows died on Tuesday, June 2nd, after a short illness. There is a mistake about his being the oldest minister in the state. He was 78 years old, but not the oldest in the state, nor the oldest in the Upper Iowa M.E. Conference to which he belonged. The following item has appeared in several papers.
Iowa City, Ia, June 3 – Rev. Dr. S. N. Fellows, who was said to be the oldest minister in Iowa, died Tuesday. He had held pastorates in various cities and towns in the upper Iowa conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He was presiding elder of the conference and served as professor of philosophy in the University of Iowa at Iowa City.
