Mrs. Karl Melcher delightfully entertained a number of ladies at a Kensington on Friday afternoon at her home on North Adams street. Some 36 ladies were present and a very delightful afternoon was spent. The party was given in honor of Mrs. Melcher’s grandmother and mother, Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Young of Bloomfield, and of Mrs. Robert Leech, a sister-in-law of Mrs. Belle Leech. The house was beautifully decorated with chrysanthemums and delicious refreshments were served by the hostess assisted by Miss Miriam Ramsey, Miss Florence Rominger, Miss LaRue Sowers, and Miss Florence Milligan.
