October 21, 1949 - As far as Richard S. Longnecker of Kalamazoo, Michigan is concerned, if Iowa Wesleyan College was good enough for his great-grandfather, it is good enough for him. He is the great-grandson of Winfield Scott Mayne, first degree graduate of the old Iowa Wesleyan University and only member of the Class of 1856. Dick's registration also marks four generations of his family's attendance here.
