PRINCESS CANDY KITCHEN SOLD TO SHIVELY AND WHIPPLE
Sodini and Bacino In Business For Twenty-six YearsJim Sodini and Roy Bacino have announced the sale of the Princess Candy Kitchen to John Whipple and Ted Shively. The new owners took possession today.
Jim Sodini came to Mt. Pleasant from Chicago in 1921 and Roy Bacino arrived here a year later. The two men have been in business since that time.
Mr. Bacino has no definite plans, but will remain in Mt. Pleasant, while Mr. Sodini plans to move to Alhambra, Calif., as soon as he can find a home. He has two sisters living there.
Mr. Shively operated the Standard Service Station on the southeast corner of the square for about 12 years and later went to Denver, Colo. He returned from Denver recently and has been working at the Rauscher station.
Mr. Whipple attended Iowa Wesleyan college and has been employed at the Rauscher station since August.
