Last Saturday the clerk of the courts and the physician on the board, commissioners in insanity, drove out to Danville to examine the condition of Mrs. Ellen E. Robinson alleged to be insane. They found the allegations, unfortunately, too true, and the patient was committed to the insane hospital at Mt. Pleasant, where it is hoped she will soon regain the complete control of her mental faculties. She is a wife and the mother of six children who are thus not only deprived of a mother's tender love and care, but are even more deeply afflicted under the sad circumstances.
