Grand Lodge and Grand Encampment of Iowa Independent Order of Odd Fellows

The annual meeting of the Grand Lodge of Iowa was held last week at Mount Pleasant, meeting on Wednesday morning and adjourning on Friday. A splendid entertainment was given by the Odd Fellows of Mt. Pleasant at Brazzelton House. Two hundred persons sat down to the supper, which passed off to the credit of the getters up of the feast and the pleasures of the were enlightened by wit and sentiment, toasts, speeches, songs &c. There was also a dance at Fulk's Hall. The next meeting of the Grand Lodge will meet at Keokuk. The following are Grand Officers elect: B. B. Woodworth, Davenport, M. W. G. Master; John W. Jones, Eldorado, R. W. D. G. Master; H. G. Price, Dubuque, R. W. G. Warden; and Wm. Garrett, Burlington, R. W. G. Treasurer.
