KILLED BY LIGHTNING.
Roy Featherby, of Mt. Union, Struck by a Bolt - Storm Damage.

Roy Featherby, the liveryman, of Mt. Union, Iowa, was struck and instantly killed by lightning Saturday morning during the heavy thunderstorm that visited that section of country. Mr. and Mrs. Featherby had arisen from bed on the approach of the storm which was very alarming. The lightning struck the house, and passed down the chimney, striking Mr. Featherby, who was standing near by. Mrs. Featherby happened to be in another portion of the room and was uninjured.
