Mt. Pleasant News, Mt Pleasant (Henry co.), Iowa, 25 July 1947.

Of the children of Mr. and Mrs James H. White one, Jennie White, married Rev. W.G. Wilson, a Methodist minister, who for a time was pastor of old Asbury here in Mt. Pleasant. Another daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James White, married a man named Broadhead. Mr. and Mrs. Broadhead became the parents of a daughter, May Broadhead, who married Henry C. Wallace, who became Secretary of Agriculture, and became the parents of the present Henry Agard Wallace. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Broadhead and her young daughter, May returned to Mt. Pleasant and for some years lived with her parents at Washington and Van Buren.
