Word was received Sunday that Mrs. Mary McCafferty had passed away at the home of her son near Creston and the remains would arrive here Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock. "Aunt Polly" as she was known by all was one of the pioneers of this township. Since the death of her husband some 9 years ago she made her home with her sons, William and Jonathan near Cromwell. The funeral will be held at the Methodist Episcopal Church at 10 o'clock Tuesday, conducted by Rev. H.B. Scoles.
