Tippecanoe Women Meet at Rockwell Home

The rural women of Tippecanoe township met at the home of Mrs. John B. Rockwell Tuesday.

The lesson on "Efficient Use of the Sewing Machine" was given by Mrs. Arthur Lashmann. Mrs. Ray Doan gave an interesting talk on her trip to Des Moines as a voting delegate to the annual state convention of the Farm Bureau. Mrs. Arthur Lachmann, chairman, and Mrs. Elmo Rasmus, vice chairman, appointed the following chairmen: Mrs. John B. Rockwell, school; Mrs. Dale Barton, health; Mrs. Nathan Elliott, library and Mrs. Chester Elliott, international relationship.

The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Walter Crane.

Those attending were Mesdames Dale Barton, John Rockwell, Elmo Rasmus, James Sampson, Howard Mabeus, Lawrence Cash, Robert Sampson, Lawrence Sammons, E.T. Gilmer, Walter Crane, C.O. Elliott, Raymond Nau, Fred Oldt, Ernest Frazer, Nathan Elliott, Ray Doan and Arthur Lachmann.
