CHURCH BUILDING GROUP AT WAYLAND VIEWS 3 CHURCHES

Wayland – A majority of the building planning board recently elected from the congregation of the Wayland Mennonite Church viewed three churches on Sunday afternoon. The group toured the Lutheran Church at Mediapolis and two different churches in Wapello.

Members of the planning board include: William J. Eicher, Board of Deacons; Thurlowe Myers, Board of Trustees; Harold Rixe and Mrs. Milton Roth, Sunday School; Wilbert Graber, Music Committee; Kenneth Klopfenstein, Young People’s Fellowship; Karen Graber, Young Mission Workers; Mrs. Allen Wenger, Dorcas Society; Dennis Klopfenstein 4-B Class; Mrs. Kenneth Peterson, Delta Alpha Class; Donald Meyer, Friendly Helpers Class; Mrs. John Zihlman, Philathen Class; Mrs. C. K. Schantz, Glenneis Class; from the congregation at large, James Roth, Young Married; Andrew Tschantz, Ted Tschantz, and Dr. C. C. Wyse.
