Recently proved that this entry in Union Twp, Harrison County, Iowa is NOT the Mary Davis that I was looking for but I did find her on the 1885 census in Jefferson Twp, Harrison County, Iowa.
I need to know if there is a death record between 1870 and 1885 for Elijah M. Morlan b. 1787 Hawkins County, TN. He was on the Jefferson Twp, Harrison Co, Iowa census in 1870. His daughter Mary Hannah Morlan Young died in 1876 and is buried in Bethel Cemetery, Logan, Harrison Co. Iowa. She was wife of Charles Young. I am looking for ELIJAH MORLAN/Moreland/Morland widow Mary A. Morlan. I know she had re-married by 1885. I am also looking for a nearby marriage look up for Mary A. Morlan. Does anyone out there have this family information?
