Hi and thanks for posting a response. I'm on the road to my winter home and won't be set up for a few days. My husband's great great grandfather was Daniel Cox and Daniel's 2nd child was William Bernard Cox married to Elizabeth Lordusky Smith. I'm pretty certain that William Bernard Cox did not embrace the LDS faith even though he married Elizabeth Smith. He certainly lived and worked in close proximinity to Howard S. Smith, his father-in-law. Many of the children of Daniel were LDS. So far I think William Bernard Cox, who would have been about 20 years old when Daniel married Lucy Smith was a Methodist which may have the original religion of Daniel and first wife mary Ann. I will share more of my work with back up material next week.
