I'm searching for any information (non-census) on my husband's Great Grandfather William B Cox. He arrived in Iowa in 1850 with bride Elizabeth Lordusky Smith. Elizabeth's parents, Howard S Smith and Azubah Nelson also farmed in Union, Harrison County. Azubah taught school in Samuel Wood's house and Howard S Smith was the postmaster in Union as was William B Cox. I can find snippets of history mentions of Howard S Smith but nothing on William B Cox. I'm particularly interested in any affiliation with the LDS and RLDS. Howard S. Smith was a founder of the RLDS but no mention of William B. Cox.
