Repeating a 2007 Query with different address.
**************************
Query: 1870 Census Jackson Twp, Clay Co., IN shows: Oliver P. Clark, single, age 25 Henry Tiffey age 17, working on Clark farm. 1880 Census, Taylor Twp, shows: Oliver P. Clark age 35, born IN, wife Caroline age 23, dau Mary E. age 6, born IA and dau unnamed 1 month, born IA 1880 Census, Calhoun Twp, shows Henry Tiffey age 30, wife Maggie 26, dau Mary J age 3, son Geo. W. age 1. Henry Tiffey was my Grandfather, he was born in 1853, in Clay Co, IN. He was married in Magnolia, July 1875)
MY QUESTION: I suspect that Henry Tiffey and Oliver Clark traveled from In to IA together. Do you have any information that would corroborate my theory??? Note: I have seen notes that Henry Tiffey stated he traveled to IA when he was 16, but I doubt that. Two of his sisters moved to Missouri Valley, but after he would have been 16. He did have an uncle (Isaac) in VanBuren Co, IA as of 1846.
