Randy Robert Wingrove was born November 24, 1960, to William and Carolyn (Mulligan) Wingrove in Denison, Iowa. He was raised in Dow City and attended school there graduating in 1978. After his graduation Randy worked at the Dubuque Packing Plant and then Farmland. He was in an accident in 2000 and became disabled.

Randy enjoyed all kids. He was known for getting the kids all riled up. In high school Randy played football and baseball. Randy enjoyed coaching Ben's little league baseball team, golfing - before his disability, playing cards, and watching football and baseball. Randy loved to give everyone a hard time. He also enjoyed going swimming in Denison five days a week.

Randy died on Monday, September 25, 2017, at the Crawford County Hospital in Denison, Iowa at the age of 56 years, 10 months, and one day.

Randy was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his two children, Heather (Ryan) Goodman and Ben Wingrove all of Council Bluffs, Iowa; two grandchildren, Mallory and Michael; mother, Carolyn Wingrove of Dow City, Iowa; two brothers, Rick (Marsha) Wingrove of Dunlap, Iowa, David Wingrove of Dow City, Iowa; sister, Connie (James) Neal of Tempe, Arizona; and many other relatives and friends.
