DOWS—LaVerne Walter Stoppelmoor, 90, of Dows died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at the First Lutheran Church in Dows with the Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Dows. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Ewing Dugger Helgeson Group, Dows Community Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services at the church.
