PLYMOUTH, Minn.—Douglas G. Vold, 57, of Plymouth, Minn., formerly of Radcliffe, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005. Funeral services were Wednesday, Jan. 19, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Long Lake, Minn., with interment at Lewis Cemetery, Maple Plain, Minn. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to either Trinity Lutheran Church or Wayzata American Legion Post No. 118, 949 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata, MN 55391. Rettinger Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Doug was a 1965 graduate of Radcliffe High School. He was very involved in the Wayzata American Legion Post No. 118 and held many positions within his post and at the district level. He was an employee of Minnegasco/CenterPoint Energy for more than 37 years.

Survivors include his mother, Florence (Vold) and husband Rich Hinderker of Story City; his wife, Claudia; a son, Andy and wife Jennifer; a grandson, Tyler; and a brother, Stuart and wife Mary of Mason City. Douglas was preceded in death by his father, Grant.
