HAMPTON - Burdine R. Hahn, 83, of Hampton died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 23, at the Faith Baptist Church in Hampton with Rev. Steve Anderson officiating. Burial was in the Allison Cemetery in Allison.
Burdine was born Dec. 16, 1920, at Allison to Ray and Leola (Hutchison) Hahn. He was raised in the Bristow area and graduated from the Bristow High School. On Feb. 20, 1946, Burdine was united in marriage to Maxine Cuvelier at Dumont. He was a farmer and was later employed by the City of Hampton. Burdine was an active member of Faith Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school. Baseball and family time together were among his favorites things.
Survivors include wife Maxine of Hampton; three daughters, Lynda Robinson of Woodberry, Minn., Myrna Minger of Dallas Center and Mary J. Hahn of Amery, Wis.; one son, Dana J. Hahn of Anchorage, Alaska; two sisters, Maxine Chestnut of Clarksville and Betty Weiland of Dumont; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, one sister, and one infant brother.
