Georgina L. Greenfield, 81, of Webster City, died Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Israel Family Hospice House at Ames. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Missionary Alliance Church, with Revs. Doug White and Peter Mueller officiating. Burial will be prior to the service at the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday.

Georgina Lou Wolfe, daughter of George and Marjorie Lewis Wolfe, was born June 16, 1930 at Iowa Falls. She received her education in the Iowa Falls school system. She also attended Ellsworth Community College, where she received a teaching certificate. On November 27, 1956, she married W. Harold Greenfield at Iowa Falls. The couple farmed northeast of Kamrar until they retired and moved to Webster City in 1989. She taught for five years at the Hubbard and Center Point Community Schools and was a substitute teacher for many years at the Northeast Hamilton Elementary School. Mr. Greenfield died December 19, 2008. She had been residing at Windsor Manor since March of 2009.

Mrs. Greenfield is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Carol and George Loshbaugh of Cedar Rapids; son, Steven H. Greenfield of Johnston; sister, Rosemary Troxel of Waterloo; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Arlene Mullin.

Georgina was a member of the Missionary Alliance Church, where she shared her musical talents by singing in the church choir and other vocal ensembles, directed Youth and Children's activities, such as Sunday School and Bible School, and was active in the Women's Missionary Prayer Fellowship.

Memorials may be given to the Missionary Alliance Church Missions Fund and the American Kidney Foundation.
