VAN WERT-Amy Lynn Jass, 20, of Van Wert, died Monday, April 30, 2001, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, of complications of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on April 25 near Osceola. Services were held Saturday, May 5, at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola, with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery there. Pastor J.R. Wheeler officiated.
Amy was born in Corydon, on March 24, 1981, to John and Pam Jass and had lived in Clarke County most of her life graduating in 2000 from Clark Schools. She worked in telemarketing for Komodo Communications in Des Moines. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Osceola, and she enjoyed music.
She is survived by her parents, John and Pam Jass, and a sister, Carrie, all of Van Wert; a brother, William of Murray; and her grandparents, William and Doris Jass of Alden.
