Eldora -- Fred H. Lightfield, 78, a former Eldora resident, at his home in Buckeye after a lingering illness; was born Jan. 19, 1872, on a farm near Buckeye, and lived all of his life in Hardin county; on Dec. 8, 1899, married Bertha Kasischke; for many years he was in the implement business in Buckeye; he lived in Eldora for a few years; leaves a widow, a brother, Charles Lightfield, Eldora, and a sister, Mrs. Hattie Schwartz, Iowa Falls.
