Wed Sixty-Nine Years
Iowa Falls, Jan. 4. The celebration of the sixty-ninth wedding anniversary of a couple comes to so few married people that the event is one of mounting passing interest and the anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Silas Bond of this city to be celebrated on the 11th of January is therefore one that commands attention.

Mr. and Mrs. Bond are pioneer residents of this place who are spending the winter with relatives in Mason City, where the will be celebrated by a family reunion including many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren from various parts of Iowa.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Bond are in as good of health as could be expected for people of their age. Mr. Bond being 93 years old and Mrs. Bond 88.
