Eldora, Ia., July 10, Ernest Cunningham, while digging a deep sewer ditch this afternoon, was buried under four feet of earth for seventeen minutes and then rescued alive. His face was buried near the sewer pipe in the ditch, and for fifteen minutes he breathed the foul air of the sewer. Two doctors had pronounced the man dead before the earth was removed.
