Claas Hayungs Dies; Funeral at New Hmapton

New Hampton - Funeral services for Class R. Hayungs, 79, Bassett, who died Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital in New Hampton, were conducted Thursday from Larkin's Funeral Chapel in New Hampton and from St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial was in Bingham Cemetery, Woden. He is survived by his wife and four sons and three daughters.

Suffers Stroke

Class Hayungs of Bassett suffered a stroke and was brought by ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital Monday.

C. R. Hayungs Funeral Services Held Thursday

Funeral services for C. R. Hayungs, 78, of Bassett, were held at 12:30 Thursday at the Larkin Chapel and 1:00 P. M. at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul T. Meyer officiating.

Mrs. A. K. Leichtman sang "For Me To Live In Jesus" and "O Sacred Head Now Wounded." She was accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Norbert Stoltz.

Interment was in the Bingham cemetery at Woden with six grandsons as pall bearers. They were Heinz Engel of New Hampton, Earl Hayungs of Holland, Ernest Hayungs of Garner, Harold Hayungs of Woden, Duane and Frank Koehler of Swaledale.

Mr. Hayungs died at 9:30 A. M. Tuesday, April 16, at the St. Joseph's Hospital where he had been a patient only one day. Death was attributed to an embolism.
