Seide Schutjer

Britt - Seide (Si) Schutjer, 66, a retired farmer and carpenter, died Saturday morning at the home of his nephew, Orvin Whitehurst, near Ventura.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Boughton Funeral Home in Britt. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Born May 25, 1901, at Woden, he was the son of Seide and Fanny Zimmerman Schutjer. He was married Oct. 4, 1924, to Blanche Whitehurst. She died in 1929.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs Floyd (Donna) Webb, Mrs. Robert (Ione) Franz, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Sandra May, Inglewood, Colo.; two sons, Kenneth Schutjer, Mason City; Sgt. Thomas Schutjer, Vietnam; five grandchildren, a great grandchild, two brothers, George, Britt; Jake, Mason City; two sisters, Mrs. Engle (Lillian) VanDusseldorp, Britt; Mrs. John (Fanny) Olthoff, Mason City.
