Miss Irene Redmond Died Tuesday Noon

Miss Irene Redmond, who had been ill for several months, passed peacefully away at her home in Britt at 12:30 p. m. Tuesday, March 29, 1949. At her bedside were her sister, Mrs. W. T. Searson, her brother, D. N. Redmond, her cousin, Bird Eales, and her niece, Lila Stone.

Maud Irene Redmond was born in Britt, Iowa, Sept. 6, 1883, and died in the same home at the age of 65 years, 6 months, 23 days.

She leaves to mourn her two sisters, Gertrude (Mrs. W. T. Searson) of Dupree, S. D.; and Emelie (Mrs. Stone) of Waterloo; and three brothers, Herb, of Choteau, Montana; H. W. (Win) of St. Paul, Minn.; and D. N. (Dell) of Britt; a niece, Lila Stone, whom she raised; a cousin, Bird Eales of St. Paul, and other nieces and nephews.

The last rites will be held at the Osman Funeral Chapel at 2 o'clock p. m.Thursday, with the Rev. L. E. Gatch presiding. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
