William R. Morris Succumbs at Britt; Services Saturday

Britt - Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at the Methodist Church in Britt for William Raymond Morris, 66, Britt, who passed away Thursday morning at the Hancock County Hospital in Britt following a lingering illness.

He was born July 26, 1891 at Cambridge, Ill., to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Morris. He later moved to Britt with his mother and father where he married Ethel Johnson. Mrs. Morris passed away June 1, 1942.

On May 19, 1953, Morris married Ethel Adams, Corwith, at Vovey, Minn. He had been a farmer and stockman in the Britt area before retiring several years ago.

He is survived by his wife and a daughter, Mrs. Elmer Hrubes, Crystal Lake; two step daughters, Mrs. Art Livingston and Mrs. Ralph Johnson, both of Corwith; and two grandsons and 12 step children.

Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery at Britt with the Rev. Louis J. Runion pastor of the Corwith Methodist Church, in charge. The Boughton Funeral Home in Britt is in charge of arrangements.
