Herman Missman, 92 Years Old, Dies at Home of Daughter.

Clear Lake, March 2 - After an illness of three weeks, Herman Missman, 92, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Cary Kerr, South Oak *** [Serv] ices will be held at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Methodist church with the Rev. J. R. Tumbleson officiating. Burial will be in the Woden cemetery beside his wife who died two years ago.

Mr. Missman came to America from Germany and settled with his parents in Pennsylvania. Later he moved to Illinois and in 1864 to Iowa. He farmed in Franklin and Hancock counties and moved to a town home in Garner before the World war. Six years ago Mr. and Mrs. Missman moved to Clear Lake where they lived with their daughter, Mrs. Cary Kerr. In 1925 they celebrated their sixty fifth wedding anniversary.

Eight children, five sons and three daughters, survive. They are: Mrs. Will Raw, Britt; Mrs. Carroll Foley, Obsldon, Idaho; Mrs. Kerr, Clear Lake; C. A. and Norman Missman, who farm near Woden; Dr. F. W. Missman, Klemme; Irving Missman, Cedar Falls, and Attorney O. F. Missman, Albert Lea, Minn. Mrs. Foley will be the only relative unable to attend the funeral services.
