Wm. (Bert) Myers

Corwith - Wm. (Bert) Myers, 90, died Wednesday at a Fort Dodge Hospital after a short illness.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church here. The Rev. Ronald Cowles will officiate. Burial will be in the Corwith Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Saturday at Blake Funeral Home.

Born Aug. 29, 1875, at Forreston, Ill., he was the son of Aaron and Ann Myers. He was married to Cora Marr Jan. 17, 1900. They moved that year to the Corwith area. She died in 1950.

Surviving are two daughters, Anna E. Myers and Mrs. Harvey (Marguerite) Hankins; two sons, Donald and Clifford, all of Corwith; seven grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, an infant son, four sisters and three brothers.
